Aegean Paddlers Sea kayak Destinations

Sea kayaking around Attica west coast, Aegina, Poros, Ydra.  Spetses islands and everything in between.

Spread around the heart of the Aegean sea and visited by millions every year, they look completely different from inside a sea kayak cockpit.

From Andros to Naxos, from Kea to Milos, from Sikinos to Amorgos, we have paddled these waters throughout reaching their most hard to reach parts repeatedly. 

We keep a local -by the sea base camp on Naxos island available, from November to June each year.

Starting from Athens and paddling all the way down south to Kythera island was a once in a lifetime experience that had us begging for more. 

And more we had, paddling these amazing coastlines in smaller sections every year. 

Sea kayaking from Poros island to Hydra and Spetses islands, exploring the coastlines between Nafplio and Monemvasia up and around Elafonissos   and Kythera are among our most favorite sea kayaking expeditions.

Spread across the east part of the Aegean sea, they form the Icarian coastlines reaching all the way down to Crete.

We have paddled every island from

Samos το Karpathos and Kasos and some of our best moments were written on these waters.

Our base camp in the Dodecanese is on Kalymnos island and is operational all year round.

Lush green and closely packed spread along the NW Aegean sea.

We have paddled around Skiathos, Skopelos, Alonissos and Skyros several times and consider it a must for every serious sea kayaker in Greece

The easternmost islands form a protected natural habitat for monk seals and other marine life.

Protected in the east and exposed to the west the Ionian coastlines need a lifetime to explore.

Our expeditions here are still limited to only around Lefkada and Zakynthos islands and we look forward to exploring further.

The Aegean crossings is where we test our selves and our equipment to the maximum and state our case about the capabilities of sea kayaking in Greece louder.  

Unassisted and self sustained, we launch from Athens for 2 weeks of sea kayaking in the Aegean sea.

Sea kayaking in the open sea between the Aegean islands is the holly grail of sea kayaking in Greece.

It requires knowledge. technique, stamina and top end equipment

It is also a clear form of strong and brave activism since everything, including coastguard regulations are against sea kayaking in the open sea.

We have crossed with sea kayaks from everywhere to everywhere.
