Andros island is only 2 hours away from Rafina port and roughly 3 from Athens centre. It's close proximity with Tinos island is contrasting their differences, inland and along the coastline.

Island hoping in the Cyclades
With most Cycladic islands being around 4 to 8 n.m. apart, a group of advanced sea kayakers can travel to a different island every day.
Routes are mostly self evident and followed by Aegean sailors since pre historic times.
With no major currents or tides, wind is boss and waves built up to 2 meter maximum, crest to trough in the open on 4 Bft wind.
